The “4th Anniversary of Reverend Sun Myung Moon’s Heavenly Ascension and Leader’s Victory Briefing in the Youngnam Area” is taking place in the Crystal Ballroom at the Busan Lotte Hotel, at 5 PM on the 13th, as the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification is hosting the event. he event on this day was attended by 500 guests, including Busan University President Ho-Hwan Jeon, former Congressman Hong-Joon Ahn, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification—Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu, the Chairman of the Universal Culture Foundation, Hoon-Sook Moon and prominent figures from Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam.
The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Family Federation) held the “4th Anniversary of Reverend Sun Myung Moon’s Heavenly Ascension and Leader’s Victory Briefing in the Busan and Gyeongnam Areas” in the Crystal Ballroom at the Busan Lotte Hotel, on the 13th.
The event on this day was arranged in order to commemorate the thoughts and ideals of Reverend Sun Myung Moon, the founder of the Family Federation, who dedicated his whole life to the peace and harmony of mankind and to unification movements throughout the Korean peninsula.
The event was attended by 500 guests, including Busan University President Ho-Hwan Jeon, former Congressman Hong-Joon Ahn, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification—Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu, the Chairman of Board of the Universal Culture Foundation, Hoon-Sook Moon and prominent figures from Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam, in order to celebrate the life and achievements of Reverend Moon.
The ceremony proceeded in the order of a viewing of a recollection video of Reverend Sun Myung Moon, a welcoming speech by Chairman Hoon-Sook Moon and a congratulatory message by former Congressman Hong-Joon Ahn.
FFWPU—Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu said, “Reverend Sun Myung Moon desired more than anyone a peaceful world, and gave us many tasks,” and showed his determination by saying, “The Family Federation is currently active in 200 countries across the world, and it shall solidly fulfill the tasks unchangingly that were given by Reverend Sun Myung Moon.”
Reverend is known to have built a mud hut at a size of only three or four pyeong at the foot of a mountain in Beomnaetkkol, Busan, in 1951, in the midst of the Korean War. It was there he wrote the original founding principles of the Unificationist ideals that spread to 185 countries around the world.

National Leader’s Briefing Tour Successfully Comes to End The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Family Federation) held the “4th Anniversary of Reverend Sun Myung Moon’s Heavenly Ascension and Leader’s Victory Briefing in the Busan and Gyeongnam Areas” in the Crystal Ballroom at the Busan Lotte Hotel on the 13th.
Approximately 500 guests participated, including Busan University President Ho-Hwan Jeon, former Congressmen Hong-Joon Ahn, Kyeong-Shik Kang, Kie-Yoon Kang and Kyu-Jeong Lee, Won Buddhism Jogye Order Headquarters Patriarch Bong Cheong, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification—Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu, the Chairman of the Universal Culture Foundation, Hoon-Sook Moon, the Chief Secretary of Dr. Hak Ja Han, Won-Joo Jeong and other prominent figures from Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. The event was arranged in order to enhance and develop the thoughts and ideals of Reverend Sun Myung Moon, the founder of the Family Federation, who dedicated his whole life toward the realization of world peace, the reunification of the Korean peninsula and the True Family movements. commemorative message by FFWPU—Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu.
In her welcoming message, Chairman Hoon-Sook Moon said, “I am thankful to all of those who remember the visions and love of Reverend Moon, and those who have participated in the peace and True Family movements,” and added, “I hope for this event of commemoration to be able to provide an even brighter hope in front of our history and future.”
In his congratulatory message, former Congressman Ahn said, “Our Reverend is no longer with us, but we must take on the unfinished work such as world peace, the True Family movements and the Korea-Japan undersea tunnel that he advocated for so much, in order to create an even better world in the future.”
In his commemorative message, President Ryu said, “With the 4th anniversary of the passing of Reverend Sun Myung Moon as the starting point and looking towards the year of 2020, we shall redouble our efforts to spread the noble ideals of Reverend Moon, internally and externally, so that the whole world can become one ‘community of heart,’” and added, “I am counting on the people participating here today to fulfill their responsibilities as leaders of their own fields for the coming of this new era we are in.”
