Family Federation for World Peace and Unification’s ‘One Human Family,’

‘Shining Rays of Hope Around the World with a Filial Heart for Heaven.’

Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s birthday and the 4^th Anniversary of Foundation Day will be celebrated with a series of commemorative events. It will be attended by 30,000 people, including 1,000 parliamentarians and leaders from around the world.

The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU Korea President Kyeung- Seuk Ryu, hereafter referred to as “FFWPU”) officially begins each year with a variety of events to commemorate the birthday of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon (January 6 by the Lunar Calendar) and the Anniversary of Foundation Day (January 13 by the Lunar Calendar).

FFWPU has prepared a series of events to celebrate the birthday of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and the 4^th Anniversary of Foundation Day under the slogan, “Shining Rays of Hope Around the World with a Filial Heart for Heaven.” The events, co-sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), Sunhak Peace Prize Committee, and the Hyo Jung World Peace Foundation, will begin with the birthday celebration and close with the Foundation Day celebration (Event dates are from February 1 to February 9; see chart).

At the Second Sunhak Peace Prize Award Ceremony, Italian surgeon Dr. Gino Strada (68) and Afghan educator Dr. Sakena Yacoobi (66) will be awarded and recognized for their contributions toward resolving the refugee crisis. Approximately 30,000 people, including 1,000 leaders and parliamentarians from the USA, England, Brazil, the Philippines, Nepal, Europe, Asia, South America and Africa will attend the awards ceremony.....
