The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Unification Church) has prepared a variety of events to commemorate the birthday of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, who currently leads the Unification Church, and the 4th Anniversary of Foundation Day.

On January 25, it was announced that the Unification Church will commemorate the shared birthday of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon on February 2 at the Cheong Shim Peace World Center in Gapyeong through a series of events co-sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), Sunhak Peace Prize Committee, and the Hyo Jung World Peace Foundation. The events will be attended by not only the core leaders and members of FFWPU but also 1,000 parliamentarians; political and religious leaders; diplomats; educators and cultural figures from around the world. The IAPP General Assembly, a gathering of international parliamentarians in the name of eternal peace and the development of humankind, will also be held on this day at the National Assembly Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

Dr. Yacoobi (66) will be honored and awarded for developing an innovative solution to the refugee resettlement problem through education, especially in Afghan refugee camps.

The Hyo Jung World Peace Foundation will present scholarships totaling 10 billion won on February 5 at the Cheong Shim International Youth Training Center in Gapyeong-gun. 2,000 global students, including 500 from Korea and 1500 from 70 different nations will receive scholarships. 100 of the 2,000 students will be representing 10 different religious groups.....
