The Cheonan Family Church of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, celebrated the 60^th anniversary of Cheonan Missionary Providence at the Cheonan Family Church, which was attended by Cheonan Mayor Bon-Young Koo, Cheonan City Councilman Jong-Han Jeon and Sun Moon University President Sun-Jo Hwang and approximately 2,000 other members.

The event was followed by a celebration of the 60^th anniversary of the Missionary Providence with the vision of “Hope for the Hundred Years of Hyo Jeong,” followed by the True Love Sharing Hyo Jeong Culture Festival. The True Love Sharing Hyo Jeong Culture Festival was supported by the Cheonan Family Church, which is comprised of 12 traditional art groups of children from multicultural families, who performed Soljanggu (Korean traditional drum), traditional dance, song and dance performances.

Among them, “CARP Costa Rica,” composed of 10 university students from Costa Rica, have received special attention for their performance.

The Regional Director of the Choongnam, In-Young Song, said, “We will continue to devote ourselves to a heartistic community where mankind becomes one under God and peace is realized. In order for the Cheonan Family Church to be more trusted and loved by citizens of Cheonan and create happiness together, to the 2,000 members gathered here, let us all work together.”
