Recently, scholarship donations for the cultivation of future leaders made by the Tongil Group to Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi-do have been coming in continuously.

The Foundation for the Support of the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity (Unification Church) donated a scholarship of 1 billion won to Gapyeong County on September 26 in accordance to the request to “use it for the cultivation of future leaders in the Gapyeong region.”

The Foundation for the Support of the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity (Unification Church) donated a scholarship of 1 billion won to Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi-do on September 26.

This Foundation has a history of having donated a scholarship of 1 billion won in June of last year.

Prior to this, on September 25, Gapyeong-eub’s New Village Women’s Council and the Korea Women Farmers District Association were each entrusted with 1 million won.

On September 27, the alumni association of the ninth graduating class of the eco-agriculture and tourism department from the Gapyeong Clean Agricultural University decided to donate 1.1 million won.

The scholarships accumulated this year at the present (September) for this district sums to a total of 1.14 billion won. A total of 1.36 billion won in donations was received last year.
