The Ocean Country Club in Yeosu revealed that it had been selected by the Seoul Economic Daily’s Golf Magazine, the Korean division of the American Golf Magazine, the world’s premier golf magazine, as one of the “Top 10 Most Beautiful Golf Courses in Korea in 2017” under the par 3 category.

The significance of this selection was highlighted with The Ocean Country Club West Hole 3 (par 3), Yeosu, being selected as the most beautiful hole out of approximately 2,200 evaluated par 3 holes of golf courses across the nation that are currently in operation.

Most notably, this evaluation on The Ocean Country Club West Hole 3 marks the best of its kind, given by renowned industry professionals, including those from professional golfers, golf academies, golf course designers and the media.

The Ocean Country Club, with its opening in 2012, is a picturesque public golf course surrounded by a panoramic view of islands and the ocean, visible from all eighteen holes.

The Ocean Country Club is garnering attention as a golf paradise throughout the four seasons, with topographical factors, including ocean winds, causing the golf course to be cool in the summer and warm currents causing the golf course to be warm in the winter. It is notably dubbed as the “Mecca of warm winter golf,” where people can go without a passport.

The Ocean Country Club’s representative Jong-Gwan Kim stated, “With the West Hole 3 rising to the top 10 most beautiful golf course holes in Korea this time around, we will transform The Ocean Country Club into a beautiful golf course that will leave its visiting golfers with a long-lasting impression, through all eighteen holes.”
