On Thursday, February 20^th, the inauguration ceremony for the new director of Tongil Foundation, Jeong Soon Jo, was held at 2:00 PM at the Cheon Jeong Goong Museum.

“The goal of the Tongil Foundation is to support the church as a maintenance foundation. I will do my best to implement transparent management policies, as well as the development of human resources and critical skills,” said Director Jo in his induction speech. On Friday, February 21^st, on the 13^th floor auditorium of the DoWon Building, Director Jo held a morning assembly with his executives, greeting his employees and expressing his plans for the organization in the future.

On February 20^th at 2:00 PM, Jeong Soon Jo (66) came into office as the new president of the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity Maintenance Foundation (Tongil Foundation) at the Cheon Jeong Goong in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do.

Director Jo graduated from the Unification Theological Seminary with a degree in ministry and spent 42 years doing ministry and evangelical work in South America. He served as the Seoul branch manager of the International Federation for Victory over Communism, the head of the Brazilian CENE Professional Football Team, the director of the Peace Cup Committee, the UPF South American Continental Director, the President of Wongu University of Oriental Medicine and the representative of Peace World Medical Co., Ltd.

The Tongil Foundation was established on October 4^th, 1963, by Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. The Foundation manages 12 subsidiary companies, including Ilhwa, the Segye Ilbo, Yong Pyong Resort, Ilsang Ocean Development (The Ocean Resort), SunWon Construction, Ilshin Stone, TIC, Shinjeong Development Co., Seil Tour, JC, Saeilo and the Asia Forum.

On February 20^th, the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity Maintenance Foundation (Tongil Foundation) introduced Jeong Soon Jo (66) as their new director at the Cheon Jeong Goong in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do.

Approximately 120 participants were present at the inauguration ceremony, including key public leaders of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification and representatives from various organizations.
