Tongil Group 2013 Management Innovation Festival was held at the main conference room of Ilhwa Co. located at Kuri, Gyeonggi-do on Thursday, January 31th, 2013. About 100 board members including Chairman Kook Jin Moon took part in that event. In Tongil Group Management Innovation Festival, best practice cases were presented and Chairman Moon awarded the first, the second and the third best practice case. This festival is held every year.
The followings are the lists of awardees. The first prize: Mr. Woo Ha Jeon, deputy department head of Yongpyong Resort "Through improvement of GC SGD, Improvement of Course Quality and Investment Cost Evasion" (SGC means the decline of grass quality in summer as the abbreviation of ‘Summer Grass Decline’) The second prize: Mr. Kyu Sung Koo, deputy department head of Ilhwa Co. "Cost Reduction through transference number of ginseng concentrate” The third prize: Mr. Gi Do Lee of Ilshin Stone "Wire Saw Industry Productivity Enhancement"
Chairman Kook Jin Moon said, “For last one year, each company made a desperate effort and got lots of results through management innovation activities. However, our rival companies continued their innovation just like us. In order for us to be strong, all of us should make our companies more healthy ones through Six Sigma. We should cherish and keep our principle. This year, we will face the difficult situation because of the global economic crisis. All companies in Tongil Group should reduce a risk and cost through Six-Sigma management innovation. All of us should overcome a crisis. In 2013, let us make stronger Tongil Group.
Through Six Sigma management innovation, 351 staffs of Tongil Group got the Belt Certification (MBB: 11 staffs, BB: 68 staffs, GB: 272 staffs). In world economic depression, Tongil Group gained the financial results annually: 1.6 billion Won in 2010, 2.4 billion Won in 2011 and 2.2 billion Won in 2012. |
