The Yongpyong Resort will implement a quit smoking campaign for the first class for such a campaign from December 1st 2012 until May 31st 2013. 20 people in total participated including Director Lee Hee-in, Director Lee Gi-yong, and Director Choi Rok-yeong.
Cigarettes contain nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, ingredients that influence your body in an adverse way debilitating the functions of the respiratory and digestive systems and can cause aches, dizziness, angina, lung cancer and other diseases. The smoke that passes the bronchial tubes and enters the lungs contains chemical ingredients that stay intact and build up in the lungs destroying lung cells. This reduces lung capacity and leads to emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and other respiratory diseases.
In particular the tar in cigarettes and the noxious gases reduces the elasticity of the lungs causing coughing, phlem and other respiratory failures. Smokers have a 70% higher chance than non-smokers of contracting coronary artery disease.
Smoking affects non-smokers around you!
We hope the participants in the Yongpyong Resort quit smoking campaign will be successful.
Tip If you exercise early in the morning endophines are released reducing your level of dependence on nicotine and reducing your craving to smoke. Exercising helps you quit smoking and maintains your heath, that's two in one^^ |
