The opening ceremony began with an opening declaration from the Foreign Cooperation team leader In-Yong Ryu, along with pictures, and a round of introductions of the company, the participants, of Chairman Jeong-Sun Jo and the Family Federation, as well as the Tongil Group’s media report. A report was given on each company; Yong Pyong Resort, Ilhwa and the Segye Times. The rest of the reports were delivered by team leader Don-Yong Choi, who concluded the briefing. Recently, there have been companies within the Tongil Group that have improved greatly, from negative deficits to surplus profits. When the participants received this report, they experienced a boost of self-esteem and felt the preciousness of this time.

On that day, Chairman Jeong-Sun Jo greeted the audience, emphasizing the saying, “Sincerity moves Heaven,” by explaining that we can move heaven through sincere conditions. So we must now make sincere efforts to develop one another, in order to further develop and expand the Tongil Group. He also requested for the participants to make more efforts to support their husbands for the sake of Tongil Group’s development. After that, the director of the foundation’s headquarters, Ho-Yul An, delivered a media report on the current status of Tongil Group; and then Family Federation’s director, Sung-Il Jo, delivered a report on the introduction of the founders, the work environment, and the specific projects the Family Federation are  implementing toward fulfilling “Vision 2020.”
