In his opening remarks, Chief Director Yoon-Gi Choi said, “We must play a leading role in manufacturing. We must contribute to the victory of ‘Vision 2020’ by offering necessary support in fulfilling the works planned by True Parents,” and further explained about the providential projects True Parents have recently emphasized including the Cheonji Sunhak Center and the human resource development center. Then he stated, “I hope you will do your best in fulfilling groundbreaking management innovation in the second half of this year, through looking back on the first half of this year and mutually cooperating with one another to reach a concrete improvement plan.”

Rev. Kyeung-Seuk Ryu said, “Today, the interest of the international society is focused on Northeast Asia centering on China, Japan and the Korean peninsula.” After analyzing the situation in China and Japan, he presented the views of experts. “Although somewhat pessimistic views still exist on Korean economic growth today, when we look back on the past 60 years, we can see that Koreans have always stood together and overcome difficulties, especially in a state of crisis. It is obvious that Korea will become the great power of Asia.” He further stated, “I hope the Tongil Group will take the lead in Korean economic growth.”

Then, Rev. Ryu gave a detailed report on the providential administration during the first half of the year, the “3^rd Anniversary of Universal Seonghwa of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind,” and the Korean Family Federation activities in the first half of 2015. 

The opening ceremony was followed by a debriefing meeting on management performance including the first half year performance report of Tongil Group and of each affiliate organization. Then there was an invitation lecture by an outside specialist as well as a comprehensive evaluation. At the end of the meeting, all participants gathered to take a commemorative picture.
