On the 27^th of April, at 2 p.m., selected as one of the supporting programs of the 2016 Tongil Group Hope & Dream salary round-off program and taking up second place, the delivery ceremony of the ‘Children’s Day Support of Gifts for Children from Nurturing Facilities’ took place at the Aehyang Child Welfare Center, a corporation located in Seojeong-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do.

For the last 60 years, the Aehyang Child Welfare Center has been an organization that has protected, nurtured and developed children requiring special protection, including orphans, children suffering from malnutrition, missing children, children who have experienced trauma and neglect due to parental abuse or abandonment, suffered dire economic conditions or who have unmarried parents, into sound members of society. At this time, around 70 preschoolers, elementary, middle and high school students are under its care.

The amount delivered was 4,000,000 won, and was used to purchase gifts for Children’s Day.

Nike sneakers were given to 13 preschoolers, tracksuits were given to 29 elementary students, and to 27 middle and high school students, short-sleeved shirts and slippers were presented.

A gift delivery ceremony to the children took place at the Aehyang Child Welfare Center, with the proposer of the salary round-off program and Yong Pyong Resort Chief Yoon-Im Choi presiding. The children received the gifts and smiled brightly.
