During 2 nights and 3 days from August 16 to 18, the Second Asia Security Conference was held at National Assembly Memorial Hall and Lotte Hotel in Jamsil. This conference was hosted by Strong Korea National Movement Headquarter and a assemblywoman EulDong Kim’s office and sponsored by Tongil Group, Washington Times Foundation and Segye Times. Total 350 persons (27 from abroad and 323 at home) including army Generals, security experts, political leaders and key leaders of government from 13 nations (Korea, Japan, USA, Philippine, Thailand, Nepal, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Australia, Holland, Austria) participated at this event.
Mr. Kook Jin Moon gave a keynote speech in the title of ‘Strong Korea’ at Main Conference in auditorium of National Assembly Memorial Hall at 2 pm on August 17. He said, “America did not take the responsibility of security of the World and focused on its own interests. During all that time, China built up its military strength with the powerful economy in order to become the nation of hegemonic power. That is the uneasy factor to World Peace. So far, Korean peoples didn’t concern about the national security and pay no attention to it.” Mr. Kook Jin Moon exemplified Israel as the small but strong nation and asserted that Korea should be strong in order to gain the honest genuine peace.
Mr. Kook Jin Moon’s special security lecture with the title of ‘Strong Korea’ was held at auditorium of North Center of Gyeonggi-Do Councilor’s Members Association on August 20 at 10 am. This event was hosted by Uijeongbu Chapter of Gyeonggi-Do Councilor’s Members Association and sponsored by Uijeongbu city Government and Assembly. About 200 peoples participated at this event.
