“Japan is blessed. A Blessing should not be kept only for oneself. It should be shared with the world,” said Hak Ja Han, the president of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, at a capitol area rally held in Saitama Super Arena nearby Tokyo, Japan this past October 16. President Han attended a ‘Anniversary Convention for 55 Years of Mission Work in Japan' that was held over a period of eleven days from October 13-23, in five different regions of Japan, including Tokyo. Reorganization of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification following the death of Sun Myung Moon The relationship between South Korea and Japan has been worsening rapidly since Japan’s announcement regarding their rights to Dokdo Island and the conservative swing policy established by the Abe administration last December. To make things worse, the massive earthquake in the eastern coast of Japan and the radiation exposure following the disaster at Fukushima nuclear facility amplify fear of the Japanese Archipelago. Despite this, there was no fear of in the atmosphere of the convention. A total of two million people attended, including political personnel related to the Japan Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. At the convention, President Han emphasized the important role of Japan in international society. She said “Japan has a responsibility, and should embrace the daughters of the world as a mother nation.” She continued, “You will not see the truth if you put the past behind you and only look at the future” at the Hokkaido convention held in Sapporo in October 14.
Saying “Without truth, there are no friends” President Han emphasized the need for the awakening of the Japanese leadership class. [See More]
