The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Korean President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu) plans to hold the 2^nd Anniversary of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day and 2015 Cosmic Blessing Ceremony by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind. Approximately 20,000 people are expected to attend these events, which will be held at the Cheong Shim Peace World Center in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do, at 10:00 AM on March 3^rd (January 13^th by the lunar calendar).

On January 13^th, 2013, the Family Federation proclaimed Foundation Day as the beginning of a new peaceful world. Under the leadership of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, a new era of “One Family under God” will begin as the 2^nd Anniversary of Foundation Day is celebrated.

After the celebration ceremony, the 2015 Cosmic Blessing Ceremony by the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind (International Blessing Marriage Ceremony) will be held with the goal of “creating a peaceful world through pure families.” 3,000 couples from 50 nations (600 previously married couples and 2,400 new couples) will participate on site and 12,000 couples will participate through internet broadcast, taking the first steps as true families that sow the seeds of peace.

The 2^nd Anniversary of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day and the 2015 International Marriage Blessing Ceremony will be broadcast live via internet to 194 nations.

Furthermore, starting on the 24^th, many events commemorating the 2^nd Anniversary of Foundation Day will be held in Seoul and Gapyeong. On February 24^th at 11:00 AM, the birthdays of the Cosmic Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind will be celebrated at the Cheon Jung Goong Palace Museum. On the 28^th, the “2015 Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation Scholarship Certificate Awards Ceremony” will be held to foster the growth of the Cheon Il Guk leaders who will build a peaceful world through lives of service.

The International Leadership Conference will be held under the motto, “Beyond the Challenges of Our Time: Transforming the Society, Nation and World.” The event will be attended by leaders and VIPs from many nations. The 21^st World Press Conference, under the banner “Prospects for Peace in Northeast Asia in the 21^st Century,” will be held over five days beginning on March 1^st at the Lotte Hotel.

Before the Foundation Day ceremony, in celebration of the love of True Parents (Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon) and in order to share the happiness of the 2^nd Anniversary of Foundation Day with rural communities, the “Commemorative 2015 Love Sharing Festival and Holy Ground Pilgrimage” will take place between February 24^th and March 8th in churches across Korea.

On March 2^nd, the “2015 Peace and Unification in the Korean Peninsula Symposium” will be held at the National Assembly Memorial Hall in order to discuss the construction of a peace park in the DMZ and the 5^th UN Executive Office.

In commemoration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, and in reflection of the role of university students from both nations in creating a new era of peace for Northeast Asia, the “Korea-Japan Youth University Students Peace Symposium” will be held on the same day and location.

On March 7^th, the “True Love Peace School” will be opened, and on the afternoon of March 21^st, the “7^th Hyo Jin Moon Music Festival” will be held at the Cheon Bok Goong Church in commemoration of the 2^nd Anniversary of Foundation Day. The festival will be dedicated toward inheriting the heart of filial piety toward True Parents....
