Family Federation “Begins Campaign to Build 5^th UN Executive Office in Korea”

On February 9^th, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Korean President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu revealed that this year, the Family Federation “plans to launch a full-scale campaign to build the 5^th UN Executive Office in a peace park at the DMZ.”

Family Federation Korean President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu held a press conference at the Seoul Press Center, and revealed that on March 2^nd, the Family Federation plans to hold the “2015 Unification in the Korean Peninsula and Peace in Northeast Asia Symposium,” together with the legislative research organization, the “Unification Future Forum.” This event, which will be held at the National Assembly Memorial Hall, will present an opportunity to launch the campaign to build the 5^th UN Executive Office in Korea.

Previously, during a government inspection last October at the Namgyungpil Gyeonggi-do branch, the Family Federation revealed plans to propose Gyeonggi-do as the site of the 5^th UN Executive Office.

From March 1^st-5^th, the Family Federation and the Washington Times will co-host the World Media Conference at the Seoul Lotte Hotel. According to the Family Federation, the event will feature former US Assistant Secretary of State Christopher R. Hill, and will be attended by about 300 press representatives, politicians and scholars from 40 nations....
