After Chairman Jung-Soon Jo’s farewell speech, Tongil Foundation executive representatives Hyang-Ok Ban and Yi-Joo Jeon presented congratulatory flowers to Chairman Yun-Ki Choi and Secretary General Sun-Pyo Hong.

“After following the words of True Parents, I have been appointed with the important mission of Foundation Chairman. I request all of my colleagues’ support in carrying out this responsibility,” said new Chairman Yun-Ki Choi. “I plan to concentrate on two things during my term in office. First, I want to unite with True Parents. I believe that it is extremely important to hold on to an unwavering pillar of faith in order to overcome all obstacles. I will do my absolute best to support the Association President from behind the scenes of the Foundation. Second, I wish to concentrate on the root mission of the Foundation: ‘the Creation of all things.’ Both Korea and the world have been suffering from slow economic growth as of late. We must take this crisis as an opportunity to take hold of a transformative power. However, our ultimate goal is the fulfillment of our responsibility centered upon ‘Vision 2020.’ I will work hard to create an atmosphere of an organization that embodies and fulfills the teachings of True Parents for the organizations, businesses, leaders and all the members.”

“Former Chairman Jung-Soon Jo, thank you so much for all of your hard work and accomplishments. I look forward to your work for the will in the future as well,” said Heavenly Council President Young-Whi Kim in his encouragement address. “I believe that our new Chairman will be a great help in ushering in the era of Cheon Il Guk. His extensive knowledge will be a great help to both the Foundation and the entire church. I believe that he will bring the Foundation from its humble current position to great heights of development in the future.”

True Parents look forward to how he will lead Tongil Group in accordance with tradition, customs and standards. I hope that the Foundation and the Association, in this age of the settlement of cultural heaven and the providence through systems and customs, can become one and play a role in fulfilling the providence of heaven,” encouraged Family Federation President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu.

Finally, Yong Pyong Resort President Chang-Ju Jung led the crowd in three cheers of Eok Mansei to conclude the event.
